The Realme C3s has gained much
popularity due to its incredible compatibility with games. When it comes to the
smooth functioning and quick responses, the Realme C3s can be trusted blindly.
The phone is also equipped with four cameras. It has three rear cameras and one
front camera for note-worthy picture capturing. The rear cameras in the Realme
C3s consist of:
- A Primary camera of 13 MP, f/1.8 aperture,
- A full angle camera of 8 MP and,
- A Depth sensor of 5 MP.
The front camera is of 8 MP for
convenient selfies. Realme C3s offers Portrait mode, Slow-motion mode, Expert
mode, and Time-lapse. Unfortunately, the phone does not provide a Night mode.
This becomes a massive drawback as almost all the current smartphones are
equipped with a Night mode. The phone also has an LED flash on the back for
extra lighting when needed.
PICTURE QUALITY
The camera experience of the Realme
C3s is not very pleasing. The cameras, in general, require a lot of lighting to
be able to capture the image adequately. As the light decreases on the subject,
the lesser is the image quality. Thus, taking low-light pictures is out of the
scenario.
To help with the lack of image
quality in the standard modes, Realme has added a new function to this
smartphone. The Chroma Boost mode adds more color and provides the ‘pop’ that
the image is lacking. But, even with the Chroma Boost mode on the phone is
unable to understand and get the skin tones correctly. Without the said mode
being on, the skin tones are too flushed while with the mode on the tones are
too warm for anyone’s liking.
The phone has a great response to
quickly locking onto the subject and focusing on it. On the screen, the photo
looks decent, but when zoomed in, the lack of detailing can be noticed.
VIDEOGRAPHY
The video recording in a Realme C3s
is 1080p at 30fps FHD for the rear camera as well as the front camera. There is
no video stabilization provided; thus, the footage is very shaky and unclear.
The overall experience using the Realme C3s for videography is decent for a
phone of this price.
CONCLUSION
The Realme C3s is an excellent phone
for high speed and mesmerizing display, but the camera quality sets the phone
slightly back. Like most of its competition, it would have been better if the
Realme C3s came with a Night mode and a video stabilization, but for a price of
8,000 rupees, the camera quality is decent and better than the smartphones
available for around the same price.
